This is a 5 days trip starting from Nairobi to Aberdare National Park, Nakuru, Maasa Mara and lastly back to Nairobi

Activities

Day 1: Nairobi- Aberdare National Park

Pick up from your Nairobi hotel/Nairobi Airport and proceed to the Aberdare national park. The drive is scenic via the central Kenya highlands with stops to view tea and coffee plantations. There shall be a further stop over points to see and experience the largest open air market in East Africa at Karatina and an afternoon and evening spent game viewing from the balconies of your Tree lodge or The Ark

The Aberdare national park is home to elephants, black rhinos, leopards, spotted hyenas, olive baboons, black and white Columbus monkeys, buffalos, warthogs and bushbucks among others. Rare sightings include those of the Giant Forest hog, bongo, golden cat, serval cat, African wild cat, African civet cat and the blue duiker. Overnight at a Tree hotel

Day 2: Aberdares - Nakuru

After breakfast you will proceed to Nakuru. There shall be a stop to view the scenic Thompson falls at Nyahururu.  The drive via farming country and local homesteads via the Great Rift Valley escarpment floor is scenic.  At Nakuru, you will have an afternoon bird watching and game viewing drive at Lake Nakuru National Park. Enjoy the diverse ecology and varied habitats that range from the Lake itself to the surrounding areas.

Lake Nakuru National Park is ideal for bird watching easy hikes and game viewing drives. The lake is home to hundreds of thousands of flamingoes and other bird species. Lake Nakuru hosts in its sanctuary the black and white rhinos.  Overnight at a lodge or tented camp of choice.( Accommodation on full board basis ).

Day 3: Lake Nakuru National Park - Maasai Mara

Wake up to a morning bird and game viewing drive and later depart for the Maasai Mara game reserve after breakfast, with stops at scenic points along the safari route. Arrive in time for lunch and later elope in the wild for an afternoon game drive out in the Mara. Overnight at lodge/ tented camp of choice.

Day 4: Full Day - Maasai Mara

You shall traverse the Maasai Mara reserve on a full day game viewing encountering the big five and more of the lesser game. Picnic lunch shall be by the Mara River as you watch hippos & crocodiles. Overnight stay shall be at a lodge/Tented camp of choice

Maasai Mara Game reserve remains the most exciting wildlife eco-system in the Natural world. It is host to the highest and most varied concentration of wild animals than any other wildlife park in the region. The scenic appeal of the tree studded savannah plains, the moderate climate and diversity of wild game species makes it a one stop shop for game viewing activities.

Day 5: Maasai Mara - Nairobi

Build your final memories at the Mara with an enroute game drive back to Nairobi (JKIA) after breakfast and board a flight back to your area of residence until next time on your next super exciting trip to Kenya.

NOTE

  1. Accommodation charges vary depending on the facility chosen
  2. Quotation will be made available upon request
  3. Park fees will be paid as per the parks visited and no of days spent
  4. Transport is charged separately and we prefer the use of a Tour Van or a Tour Land cruiser for a professional touch and also to give you a feel of the savannah

Included are:

  1. Transport and park fees.
  2. Option of driving in a tour van or Land Cruiser.
  3. A bottle of mineral water per person per day.
  4. Professional English speaking guide.

Not included in the Safari:

  • All bookings are on full board unless mentioned and this does not include drinks ( soft drinks and Hard drinks)
  • Any activities not listed on the tour package
  • Travel Visas
  • Travel insurance
  • Any transportation to personal excursions and/or activities not included in the package.
  • Any tips and gratuity to the Hotel staff and Driver/Guides

 

Cancellation Policy:

  • If a tour is cancelled more than 15 days prior to departure, all payments (except for your deposit) are refundable*.
  • If a tour is cancelled from 5 days prior to the tour 40% of the tour cost is forfeited.
  • If a tour is cancelled less than 5 days prior to departure, 100% of the tour cost is forfeited.

 

PS:  Cancelled Flights Policy for all Tours:  in the event that you cancel your flight, i.e if Sambaza Afrika had booked the flight for your,  you will be required to pay a flight cancellation fees;  this will vary depending on the Airline/ Agent as well as pay an administration fees of Kshs 2000.00

Terms and Conditions:

 

Once a tour has been confirmed, client is supposed to send at least 50% of the entire amount of the tour so as to book the Hotels on time.  Kindly note that once a hotel/lodge has been booked, cancellation shall be based on terms and conditions of the said Hotel/Lodge.
